Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for our Horley team. In a warm EYFS setting, you will support a designated group of children aged 0-5, delivering engaging activities and ensuring safety throughout the day.

The role requires a Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification, EYFS knowledge, and strong communication with parents and colleagues. DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one is expected, with opportunities for CPD and professional growth.

Qualifications

Location: Horley, Surrey

Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person to a designated group of children, tracking their progress and supporting their individual development.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene, and safeguarding across the setting at all times.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues through clear communication.
• Assist with day-to-day nursery routines, including mealtimes, rest periods, and outdoor play.

Qualifications

Qualification: Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE, or equivalent).

• Proven experience working within an EYFS nursery setting.
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection guidelines.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).
