Job summary

Rapier Employment is seeking Class 1 drivers to support a well-known client in Reading. Shifts run 24/7 with start times typically between 12:00 and 16:00. Weekend work is required, with additional weekday shifts available if weekend days are covered.

Responsibilities include trunking to distribution centres nationwide, ensuring a minimum of 8 hours per shift, and performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. CPC, Digi, and Cat C+E licences held for at least 6 months are required.

Must have held licence for 6 months (category C+E)

Position: Class 1 Driver

Days: Site operate 24/7 - weekday and weekend

Times: Start times between 12:00 - 16:00

Days: Saturday and Sunday is a must with 3 other days in the week - 5 days available if both weekend days are covered. If looking for 1-2 days, reach out as we could have some adhoc shifts

• Trunking to a variety of distribution centres across the country

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues


• Weekend and weekday work available
