Job summary

Rapier Employment is seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for a busy Bradford client. The role is long-term and includes weekend shifts. You will deliver to RDCs and stores, unload using tail lift and cages, and perform vehicle checks.

Ideal candidates hold a C+E license with at least 12 months’ experience, 3+ months of commercial driving, and hold a Digital Tachograph Card with CPC qualification. POSITIVE attitude and reliability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• HGV C+E licence held for at least 12 months.
• Experience with tail lift and cages is advantageous.
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification are required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to RDCs and stores.
• Unloading at stores using tail lift and cages.
• Perform vehicle checks and start/end shift duties.
• Shift patterns to include weekend work.

Job description

Rapier Employment are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Bradford. This role will be long term ongoing for the right candidates.

Any shift to include a weekend day.

This role does require some manual handling of cages and tail lift work.

Responsibilities will include:

• Delivering to RDCs and stores.
• Stores deliveries will be unloading using tail lift and cages.
• Vehicle checks
• Shift patterns to suit but a weekend shift is preferred.

Days

• Days: 04:00 – 09:00 starts
• £18.57 per hour PAYE
• Over time £27.85ph after 8 hours

Nights

• Nights: 15:00 – 21:00 starts
• £20.01per hour PAYE
• Over time £30.01ph after 8 hours

Rates are the same Monday – Sunday.

The ideal candidate.

• Held your HGV C+E licence for at least 12 months
• You must have at least 3 months commercial experience for insurance purposes
• No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
