Job summary

Rapier Employment is seeking Class 1 drivers to support our client in Didcot. The role requires holding a C+E licence for at least six months and entails trunking operations with a Class 1 vehicle.

Shifts start between 13:00 and 16:00, 24/7 site with weekend work. On-site role requiring safety-conscious driving and diligent delivery records.

Qualifications

• C+E licence held for at least 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Full UK licence, CPC card and digital tachograph card.
• Willing to work weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods between different locations, ensuring efficient delivery schedules.
• Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for trunking operations, adhering to company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.
• Communicate effectively with the transportation team and other drivers to coordinate trunking operations.

Rapier Employment are looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Didcot.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has held their C+E licence for 6 months.

Role: Class 1 Driver

Pay: £17.85 to £19.52per hour - overtimeafter 45 hours

Hours: Starts between 13:00 - 16:00

Days: Site operate 24/7 somust be available to work weekends
