Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for our ABI service, Summerfield Court in Bramley, Leeds. You will help residents gain independence by assisting with daily tasks, personal care, and community engagement, within a dynamic team.

No two days are the same and you’ll support life skills and activities with patience and resilience. Shifts are 7:30am–2:30pm and 2:30pm–9:30pm, with full flexibility expected for weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be fully flexible to complete both shift patterns - weekdays and weekends.
• Experience or willingness to work with individuals with acquired brain injury preferred.
• Ability to support independence and daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily life.
• Teach life skills and support socialisation and activities.
• Assist with personal care and encourage community access.
• Support outings to restaurants or appointments and at home activities.

Support Worker - Bramley, Leeds - £12.72 per hour

Shifts are: Monday to Sunday, 7:30am - 2:30pm and 2:30pm - 9:30pm.

*Must be fully flexible to complete both shift patterns - weekdays and weekends*

Our ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service, Summerfield Court in Bramley, Leeds is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local restaurants or attending appointments, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
