Salary: Can increase depending on experience and skills

Working an agreed pattern and hours, full-time and part-time carers required for a young male adult, working in our family home.

The young male adult requires full personal care including, feeding, bathing, incontinence needs, brushing teeth etc. He has special needs and is wheelchair bound. He is 20 years old but has a mental ability of a 12-month-old.

Need to provide full cares to get ready for daycare in the morning before the taxi arrives by 9.15am and then needs care in the afternoon when he returns from daycare to get ready for the evening. Can provide full details of roles and responsibilities and working times.

Person required:

Needs to be confident with experience of caring for someone, i.e. feeding using gastrostomy peg, personal cares etc. Being physically fit to move and handle the young adult as required, trustworthy and comfortable working in a family home environment. Must be reliable and confidentiality is important. Ceiling track hoist, lift and ramps are in place.

Needs to have a full UK driving license. Specific training to get familiar with the routine will be provided.
