Aberdeenshire Council is recruiting a Care and Support Worker to help service users in their own homes in the Peterhead area, based for admin at Seafield House, Banff. You will support daily living, promote independence, rights and choices, with a rota of 4x6 hour shifts including evenings and weekends.
Applicants must have SSSC registration within 3 months, be willing to join PVG Scheme or update checks, and provide two references (one from your current or most recent employer).
Provide care and support to service users and their families within their own homes to
manage aspects of daily living, allowing service users to live independently, and promoting their rights, autonomy and choices.
This role will require flexible, evening and weekend working.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
Work pattern is a combination of morning, evening and weekend working on a rota basis of 4 x 6 hour shift per week.
Although you will be working in the Peterhead area, for administrative purposes, you will be based at Seafield House, Banff

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
