Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council is recruiting a Care and Support Worker to help service users in their own homes in the Peterhead area, based for admin at Seafield House, Banff. You will support daily living, promote independence, rights and choices, with a rota of 4x6 hour shifts including evenings and weekends.

Applicants must have SSSC registration within 3 months, be willing to join PVG Scheme or update checks, and provide two references (one from your current or most recent employer).

Qualifications

• Must have SSSC registration within 3 months of employment.
• PVG Scheme or update check required.
• Overseas Criminal Record Check if spent 3+ months outside the UK in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to service users and families in their own homes, promoting independence, rights and choices.
• Work pattern includes evenings and weekends on a rota (4 x 6 hour shifts per week).
