Kings Ash Children’s Academy is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join on a fixed-term basis. You will provide 1:1 learning support under the guidance of the SENCo and assist the class teacher with teaching and welfare in line with pupils’ needs.
You will help promote positive behaviour, self-esteem, and independent learning to support pupils’ development and progress. Hours are 08:30–15:20, Monday to Friday, with a lunch break and PD time.

Kings Ash Children’s Academy are seeking an experienced, dedicatedSEN Teaching Assistantto join their team on a fixed term basis. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 learning support under the guidance of the SENCo, together with supporting the class teacher in teaching and welfare in accordance with pupils’ Education, Health and Care Plans or additional educational needs.
Our SEN Teaching Assistant will play a key role in encouraging positive behaviour, promoting self-esteem, and fostering independent learning to support pupils’ overall development and academic progress.
There may also be a requirement to administer First Aid, subject to appropriate training.
Working hours are 08:30 to 15:20 Monday to Friday, with a 20 minute lunch break plus an additional 20 minutes per week for continued professional development.
