Teaching Vacancies in Peterborough is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a friendly school on a permanent contract, at 30 hours per week. Part-time applications will be considered.

You will support EYFS, KS1 and KS2, assist with pupil progress and maintain class records; promote good behaviour in a calm, orderly environment, and work flexibly to meet pupil needs. Salary is £14.14 to £15.31 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
  • Have experience working with children with high level or Special Educational Needs.
  • A flexible attitude and a sense of fun.
  • Support the teacher, maintaining class records, adapting resources to the needs of the pupils, collect evidence and contributing to pupil progress reports; promote pupils’ good behaviour and independent learning strategies.
  • Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly, and supportive environment.
  • Curriculum support by undertaking structured learning activities indoors and outdoors, adjusting according to pupil responses.
  • Have an understanding of speech and language programs and children's sensory needs.
  • Support the school's Christian ethos.

What skills and experience we're looking for

Teaching Assistant – 30.00 hours per week/Permanent Contract

Part-time applications will be considered.

Salary Grade 6 point 7 (£14.14 per hour) -12 (£15.31 per hour) depending on experience.
