Job summary

Meridian Business Support is seeking enthusiastic FLT Counterbalance Drivers for a logistics site in Woolston (Warrington). The role offers an immediate start, temp to perm opportunities after 13 weeks, and pays £13.33 per hour, rising to £13.66 after 13 weeks.

Shifts include Afternoon and Night (Mon-Fri, 11PM–8AM). You will load/unload wagons, move stock, stack pallets, and keep areas clean and safe while meeting deadlines in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (RTITB/ITSSAR or in-house accepted).
• Minimum 6 months FLT driving experience.
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Loading & unloading wagons.
• Moving stock around the pallet yard.
• Stacking/unstacking pallets and working safely at all times.
• Keeping the working area clean & organised.
• Using a pump truck and supporting general warehouse tasks.
• Working to deadlines in a busy warehouse environment.
