Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is seeking Class 2 drivers in Norwich to join our client providing waste disposal and recycling services. You will operate 7.5 tonne and Class 2 vehicles, collecting and delivering wheelie bins from residential properties on a Monday to Friday schedule.

Ideal candidates hold a Class 2 licence, a valid DCPC card and a Digi-tacho, with at least 3 months of commercial driving experience. A driving assessment may be required before shifts, and relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence required.
• At least 3 months of commercial driving experience.
• UK DCPC card and Digi-tacho card required.
• May accept up to 6 points; certain endorsements not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 and 7.5 tonne box vehicle.
• Deliver and collect wheelie bins from residential locations.
• Adhere to WTD regulations and company safety policies.

You will be driving a 7.5 tonne box vehicle as well as a Class 2 vehicle, delivering and collecting wheelie bins from residential properties.

Hours:

• - Monday to Friday working
• - Shift times - 06:00 to 15:00

This role may require you to complete a Driving Assessment before you can be allocated a shift.

• - Driving and operating a Class 2 vehicle
• - Driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle
• - Collecting & delivering wheelie bins from different residential locations

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 3 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
