Job summary

Simple Recruitment Services Ltd in Norwich is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy Waste & Recycling operation in Norwich (NR5).

You will drive a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle and carry out residential and commercial waste collections, working alongside loaders on planned routes with daily vehicle checks and strict adherence to transport and safety rules.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• A minimum of 90 days' recent HGV Class 2 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Driving and operating a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle.
• Completing residential and commercial waste collections.
• Working alongside loaders on planned collection routes.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Operating safely and in line with transport legislation.

Pay: £15.02 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Overtime: Paid at time and a half
