Job summary

Forestry England in Northampton is seeking a part-time Visitor Welcome Team Member to support the visitor centre and greet visitors to the forest. The role covers two days per week, including Saturdays and Sundays, in a beautiful outdoor setting.

You will handle cash and card payments, promote memberships, keep facilities tidy, and contribute to a safe, welcoming visitor environment while learning basic first aid and health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn about health and safety in an outdoor environment.
• Confidence using IT systems including Microsoft Office.
• Experience using tills or admissions systems (desirable).
• Cash handling experience (desirable).
• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English.

Responsibilities
