Job summary

Rosedene Nurseries in Northallerton, North Yorkshire seeks a caring and enthusiastic early years nursery practitioner to join our team. You will supervise children, create engaging activities, promote hygiene and build strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

  • Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising children within the nursery environment, including mealtimes, rest periods and nappy changing/toileting
  • Creating fun and engaging activities to suit the needs of the children
  • Promote good hygiene practices
  • Building solid, caring relationships with parents/carers, families, professionals and your team
  • Keeping accurate records and communicating with parents/carers
  • Supporting your team members and being a positive role model, who looks to develop and suggest positive changes
  • Leading the room in the absence of the room leader
  • Attend staff meetings or any training courses that will help enhance your personal and professional development
  • Monitor and record all accidents
  • Adhering to and implement all nursery procedures and policies

What we're looking for
Essential
  • Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification

Working Hours

Part time and full time positions availableMonday to Friday.
