Job description

One Full-Time Project Worker(fixed term) opportunity at our Newport service, George Street, until August 2027.

George Street is an 8-bed supported accommodation service for young people aged 16–18 who are leaving care. The service supports young people to develop their independence, build life skills and prepare for a successful transition into adulthood.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in working with young people and would like to develop their experience within Leaving Care Services.

The role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to:

Support young people to develop their independence and confidence.

Provide person-centred support around education, employment, wellbeing and life skills.

Develop positive relationships and encourage young people to achieve their goals.

Work alongside colleagues and partner agencies to provide effective support.

Gain experience of working within a specialist leaving care service.
