Job summary

NWF Group is seeking a driver for a Monday–Friday pattern with top-tier fleet and competitive pay in the UK. Responsibilities include vehicle checks, safe deliveries in Cheshire and surrounding areas, and yard support as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a Class 1 license with CPC and tachograph card, show strong communication, and will join Boughey Distribution within a large group offering progression and funded training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid category C&E license is required.
• Current CPC and tachograph card are essential.
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle checks at start and end of shift and comply with driving rules.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
• Assist with yard work and loading/unloading as needed.

Day to Day

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift –complying with all HGV driving rules throughout your shift to ensure there is no unnecessary damage to vehicles
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas
• Manoeuvring trucks into loading and unloading positions, ensuring loads are secured, provide support in the yard including handball or pump truck deliveries where required

What will you bring?

• A valid category C&E license is essential
• Current CPC and tachograph card with a good understanding of driver hours regulations
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
• Excellent communication skills to be able to handle both customer queries at point of delivery and collaborate effectively with the Boughey team on site
