Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber for a single facility in the Morpeth area. You will perform a wide range of plumbing maintenance tasks, diagnose faults, complete repairs, and maintain systems to the highest standards.

The role features core hours Monday–Friday (40 hours/week), on-call rota, and opportunities for training, development & progression. Competitive salary up to £38,000 per annum and 25 days leave plus bank holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
• Proven track record as a Maintenance Plumber or similar role within the facilities management sector.
• Happy to cover a large site.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify and rectify leaks, clogs, and other issues promptly
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to proactively address potential breakdowns and extend the lifespan of plumbing equipment
• Utilise your expertise to diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently, including leaks, blockages, and damaged pipes
• Conduct installations, replacements, and upgrades of plumbing fixtures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate closely with other maintenance personnel and external contractors to coordinate repairs and renovations seamlessly
• Uphold stringent safety protocols and adhere to regulatory requirements to maintain a secure working environment for all

This position involves performing a wide range of plumbing maintenance tasks, including diagnosing faults, completing repairs, and maintaining systems to the highest operational standards at a single facility in the Morpeth area.

Package:

• Competitive salary up to £38,000 per annum
• Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
• Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)
