Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber for a single Morpeth-area facility as part of a facilities management service provider. The role involves diagnosing faults, completing repairs, and maintaining plumbing systems to high standards.

You will work core hours Monday–Friday (40 hours) with an on-call rota, plus a pension scheme, training & progression opportunities, and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with a competitive salary up to £38,000.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
• Proven FM maintenance plumber experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Happy to cover a large site.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks, clogs and issues.
• Execute preventive maintenance to extend plumbing equipment lifespan.
• Diagnose and resolve leaks, blockages and damaged pipes.
• Conduct installations, replacements and upgrades of plumbing fixtures.
• Coordinate repairs with maintenance staff and external contractors.
• Uphold safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Maintenance Plumber - Morpeth Area - FM Service Provider

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber with proven experience in the facilities management industry. This position involves performing a wide range of plumbing maintenance tasks, including diagnosing faults, completing repairs, and maintaining systems to the highest operational standards at a single facility in the Morpeth area.

Package:

• Competitive salary up to £38,000 per annum
• Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
• Participation in an 'out of hours' on call rota (to be confirmed)

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify and rectify leaks, clogs, and other issues promptly
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to proactively address potential breakdowns and extend the lifespan of plumbing equipment
• Utilise your expertise to diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently, including leaks, blockages, and damaged pipes
• Conduct installations, replacements, and upgrades of plumbing fixtures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate closely with other maintenance personnel and external contractors to coordinate repairs and renovations seamlessly
• Uphold stringent safety protocols and adhere to regulatory requirements to maintain a secure working environment for all

Requirements:

• Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent
• Proven track record as a Maintenance Plumber or similar role within the facilities management sector
• Excellent customer service skills
• Happy to cover a large site
