Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Site Manager for social housing decarbonisation projects in Milton Keynes. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure safety and compliance, and coordinate subcontractors for retrofit works including Solar PV, ASHP and insulation.

Responsibilities include liaising with residents and clients, maintaining records, and delivering projects on time. A valid NVQ in Site Management, SMSTS and CSCS are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven site management experience in social housing, refurbishments, or energy/decarbonisation projects.
• SMSTS certification and CSCS card required, NVQ in Site Management preferred.
• Familiarity with SHDF or PAS 2030/2035 retrofit standards is advantageous.

Job Title: Site Manager - Social Housing Decarbonisation

Location: Milton Keynes

Rate: £23.58 per hour PAYE

Contract Duration: 6 Months (Temporary contract through to end of March)

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in social housing maintenance or domestic energy retrofits? We are recruiting a

Milton Keynes to deliver essential upgrade works under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations across social housing properties, ensuring works are completed safely, to specification, and on schedule.
• Supervise sub-contractors and trades installing Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), Loft Insulation, and Cavity Wall Insulation.
• Enforce strict Health & Safety standards on-site and maintain clear records/compliance logs.
• Act as the primary site contact for residents, client representatives, and trade teams.

Requirements

Experience: Proven site management experience within social housing, residential refurbishments, or energy efficiency/decarbonisation projects.

Qualifications: Relevant NVQ in Site Management / Construction Trades, along with SMSTS and a valid CSCS Card.

Knowledge: Familiarity with SHDF or PAS 2030 / PAS 2035 retrofit standards is highly advantageous.
