Job summary

Idverde in Kendal is seeking Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team on a seasonal contract. You will maintain local grounds using ride-on and pedestrian mowers, perform pruning and weed control, and handle general horticultural duties as part of our Westmorland and Furness contract.

Able to work outdoors in all weather, with a full UK manual driving licence and PA1/PA6 licenses being a plus. This is a great opportunity to develop skills and grow with a leading grounds maintenance

Qualifications

• Previous Grounds Maintenance experience is desirable.
• A full valid UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• PA1 and PA6 licenses are desirable.

Hourly Rate: £12.71

Contract type: Fixed Term Contract

Contract Dates: Seasonal until 16th October (weather conditions dependant).

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-12:30

About the role

We currently require multiple Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team in Kendal to work on our Westmorland and Furness contract. You will keep several local grounds in a wonderful condition for our client through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties.
