Douglas Academy, part of East Dunbartonshire Council, is seeking a Clerical Assistant. The role is 35 hours per week during term time, 8.30am–4.30pm, with a one-hour lunch break. You will provide clerical support, input data, manage pupil and staff records, and cover reception and reprographics from the School Office.
Experience in an office environment and IT skills are essential. SEEMIS Click & Go knowledge and advanced Word/Excel are desirable; Teams experience is a plus.

Working in Douglas Academy you will provide clerical support within the school.
Duties will include data input on Seemis Click & Go, the use of Microsoft packages, tasks associated with the maintenance of all school records in relation to pupils and staff, telephone, reception and reprographics duties, distribution of school mail, dealing with pupil enquiries and attending to welfare needs of pupils. This post will be based in the School Office.
You must have experience of working within an office environment and good IT skills are essential. Experience of using SEEMIS Click and Go and the ability to use Word and Excel to an advanced level are desirable. Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Teams is also advantageous. You should be able to work as part of a team and enjoy a variety of tasks within your remit.
This is a term time post.

Should an employee leave in advance of the payment being deducted, the full amount will be deducted from the employee’s final salary.
