Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited in Melton Mowbray is seeking Class C drivers for ongoing temporary work delivering products across the UK. You will be accompanied by a driver's mate for loads and unloads, with manual handling required throughout the day.

Shifts start between 04:00 and 08:00 from Monday to Friday, typically 10–12 hours, and pay is £17 per hour. Applicants must hold a valid HGV/LGV C license and a digital tachograph card, with no more than six penalty points.

Job description

We require Class C drivers to work for our client out of Melton Mowbray, within this role you will be delivering products throughout the UK. There will be manual handling of the load; however, you are accompanied with a driver’s mate.

All applicants must have a valid HGV/LGV C license and a digital tachograph card. Previous experience within a commercial driving position is desirable. We cannot accept applicants who have more than 6 penalty points.

This is a temporary role with ongoing work

The working hours for this position are Monday – Friday. You will start between 0400 and 0800, depending on the deliveries that day. A typical working day is between 10 and 12 hours per day.

The rate of pay for this position is £17 per hour and you may accrue up to 28 days annual leave.
