Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking Class C drivers to operate from Melton Mowbray, delivering products across the UK. You will work with a driver’s mate and handle loading duties.

Typical shifts run Monday to Friday, starting between 04:00 and 08:00, with long days between 10 and 12 hours. This is a temporary role with ongoing work.

You must hold a valid HGV/LGV C license and a digital tachograph card, with no more than six penalty points; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV/LGV C license and tachograph card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Experience in commercial driving is desirable.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We require Class C drivers to work for our client out of Melton Mowbray, within this role you will be delivering products throughout the UK. There will be manual handling of the load; however, you are accompanied with a driver’s mate.

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay for this position is £17 per hour and you may accrue up to 28 days annual leave.We do not offer visa sponsorships

Working Hours: The working hours for this position are Monday – Friday. You will start between 0400 and 0800, depending on the deliveries that day. A typical working day is between 10 and 12 hours per day.
