Job summary

QS Recruitment are seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver to join a food and drinks wholesaler. Based from Coalville RDC, you will drive a 15T vehicle for multi-drop deliveries across Leicestershire on a temp-to-perm basis, with starts from 6:00am and 8–10 hours per day.

The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence with Cat C, Digi Tacho and CPC, good fitness for manual handling, and immediate availability. Pay is £16.30 per hour, with holiday accrual and potential permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with Cat C entitlement
• Valid Digi Tacho and CPC cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Available for an immediate start

Responsibilities

• Operate a 15T vehicle for multi-drop deliveries to caged goods across Leicestershire from Coalville RDC
• Complete deliveries in a physically demanding role with some heavy lifting
• Ensure safety and compliance with driving regulations and company policies

Are you looking for your next driving role working full time and with the view to gain a permanent contract? Then we want to hear from you. You will be working on a temp to perm contract for our client who are a food and drinks wholesaler. Leaving the Coalville RDC, you will drive the 15T vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries of caged goods throughout the Leicestershire area. This is a physically demanding role that can involve heavy lifting so you must have a good level of fitness.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: This driving role pays a competitive £16.30 per hour. Holiday pay is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.

Working Hours: This role Monday to FridayStarting at 6:00am,expect 8-10 hours per day.
