Job summary

Fulcrum Engineering is recruiting Pipe TIG and MMA Welders, Fabricators and Fitters for client sites across Hoo, Rochester, Sittingbourne, Ashford and West Thurrock. CSCS and Safety Passport are required, with experience in 1/2–6 inch pipework, screwed, maypress, flanged or welded configurations.

Working hours are 07:00–17:30 (or 19:00), with 48–55+ hours Mon–Fri and possible Saturday shifts. Temp contracts range 2–8+ weeks; skilled rates start at £28+ per hour, with overtime up to £33, Saturday

Qualifications

• CSCS and Safety Passport are required.
• Weld to coded specs on pipework including 1/2–6 inch sizes.
• Experience with screwed, maypress, flanged and welded pipework.
• Willingness to work overtime and shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate pipe to drawings and site runs.
• Install and maintain piping systems on client sites.
• Move pipe spools, valves and supports as directed.
• Assist with checks and reinstatement fitting work.

Fulcrum Engineering & Technical are acting as a Employment Business on behalf of our Clients

Covering Hoo, Rochester, Sittingbourne, Ashford, West Thurrock, Brentwood area Sites

We are recruiting personnel at all levels and covering similar roles,

Pipe TIG Welders & Pipe MMA Welders Working on welding 2 - 6 inch stainless and carbon pipe to coded specs.

Pipe Fabricators/Fitters and

HVAC or Mechanical Engineers or Techs & Fitters

Working Install & Maintenance Work. Working on the safe removal of Piping, HVAC, Mechanical systems

Moving pipe spools, valves, supports from work place areas to lay down areas.

Then assisting with completing checks and reinstatement fitting work.

Fabrication & installing new modified Pipework to drawings or site run work.

Working on 1/2 - 2 inch screwed & maypress pipework & 2 - 6 inch flanged & welded pipework

Hours = 0700 to 1730 or to 1900 48 to 55 + hours Mon to Fri as required

Also might work 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required

Term = Temp Contract 2 to 8 + weeks & Contract Temp

Pay Temp Contract Skilled = £28 + per Hr up to 40 Hrs £33 O/T + per Hr Sat £36 per Hr Sun £40 per Hr

Depending on Skills/Quals Semi Skilled Mates = £19 to £23 + Hr

Travel Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site

Lodge Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site
