St. Edmund’s CofE Primary and Nursery School invites a motivated Class Teacher to join our warm, welcoming staff. You will deliver ambitious, inclusive teaching, support pupils including those with SEND, and contribute to the school's Christian vision and ethos.

What skills and experience we're looking for

As a Class Teacher, you will:

• Deliver ambitious, engaging and inclusive teaching that enables all pupils to make strong progress.
• Create a positive climate for learning built upon clear routines, high expectations and respectful relationships.
• Use assessment effectively to identify gaps, adapt teaching and respond precisely to pupils’ needs.
• Provide appropriate support and challenge for all learners, including pupils with SEND and those facing disadvantage.
• Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the school.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, carers and external professionals.
• Support and promote the school’s Christian vision, values and inclusive ethos.
• Fulfil the professional responsibilities set out in the Teachers’ Standards.
