Job summary

Fawkes & Reece is seeking a Freelance Site Manager to lead commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects in the Manchester area. You will report to the Project Manager and senior management, upholding H&S standards and coordinating with design teams, consultants, and client representatives.

The role requires 4+ years of site management experience in commercial environments and a valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. Weekly Friday pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Manager in commercial environments (offices, schools, colleges, universities).
• Minimum of 4+ years experience in a Site Manager position.
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Project Manager and senior management team.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards and ensure they are followed by contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives.
• Liaise with client regularly.
• Support commissioning and final handovers.
