Job summary

HideOut Youth Zone in Manchester is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the facility. You will contribute to a welcoming environment for members and visitors by ensuring all areas are safe and ready to open each day.

You will take responsibility for cleaning all areas as directed by the Building & Facilities Manager, operate vacuum cleaners and polishers, follow opening and closing procedures, and report any maintenance or safety hazards immediately to

• Taking responsibility for cleaning all areas of the Youth Zone as directed by the Building & Facilities Manager or other appropriate manager
• Operating cleaning machinery for cleaning soft and hard surfaces, such as vacuum cleaners and polishers
• Following opening and closing procedures
• Reporting any emergency maintenance problems, including toilets and other water fixtures, or hazards immediately to the Building & Facilities Manager
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested by management

Job description

To provide a high standard of cleaning services throughout the Youth Zone’s fantastic facility. As a critical member of the team you will contribute to ensuring that a great first impression is always given to our members and visitors and that all areas of the Youth Zone are safe and clean to be open at all times.
