Job summary

Intelligent Workplace Solutions Ltd. is seeking a reliable cleaner to maintain hygiene across offices, toilets, kitchens and common areas in Crediton. You will follow site specifications, use approved materials, and report stock levels to the Account Manager.

You must keep tools in good working order, be punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision while adhering to Health & Safety requirements and confidentiality obligations.

Responsibilities

• To clean Offices, toilets, Kitchens and Common Areas
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness daily
• Follow site specifications and clean to set frequencies
• Adhere to standards and procedures
• Use cleaning materials as instructed and inform stock levels
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order and report faults
• Empty bins and remove waste, including recycling
• Use only approved materials per manufacturers’ instructions and COSHH
• Follow Health & Safety responsibilities for self and others
• Be flexible to changing demands
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Be punctual, reliable and trustworthy
• Willing to undertake any relevant training
• Maintain confidentiality of site matters
• Manage time effectively
• Initiative and ability to work without supervision
• Provide proof of ID when required

Job description

To clean Offices, toilets, Kitchens and Common Areas

To ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the premises daily.

Expected to clean to the frequency and standards set out in the site specification.

To ensure standards and procedures are adhered to.

To use cleaning materials appropriately, as instructed and economically; to inform Account Manager when stocks are low.

To ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order, reporting any faults to Account Manager.

Empty and clean bins and remove waste to designated area, including the separation of waste, i.e., recycling.

You are required to use only approved cleaning materials and in accordance with manufacturers printed instructions and COSHH regulations.

To be aware of their responsibilities for Health & Safety of themselves and others.
