Job summary

EMPOWER Youth Zone is seeking a part-time cleaner for their Manchester facility. You will help maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Youth Zone, ensuring a welcoming environment for members and visitors.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning machinery, following opening/closing procedures, reporting maintenance issues, and performing additional duties as needed by management. Flexible weekend/early-morning shifts available.

Qualifications

• Experience with general cleaning tasks in a public-facing environment.

• Operating cleaning machinery for cleaning soft and hard surfaces, such as vacuum cleaners and polishers.
• Following opening and closing procedures.
• Reporting any emergency maintenance problems immediately to the Building & Facilities Manager.
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested by management.

To provide a high standard of cleaning services throughout the Youth Zone’s fantastic facility. As a critical member of the team you will contribute to ensuring that a great first impression is always given to our members and visitors and that all areas of the Youth Zone are safe and clean to be open at all times.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

• Following opening and closing procedures

• Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested by management
