Job summary

Teaching Vacancies advertises a part-time KS2 teaching position at St Lawrence Church of England Academy. What skills and experience we're looking for

We have a part-time teaching position available in KS2. This post is fixed term to cover maternity leave. The post will commence on 22nd February 2027 subject to the suitable completion of any outstanding recruitment checks and will end when the individual returns from maternity leave. A date for this is not yet known.

We are seeking a teacher who has
  • a willingness to commit to the Christian values and ethos of the school
  • high expectations of pupils and evidence of excellent standards of teaching
  • the ability to be a reflective practitioner, committed to raising standards
  • a genuine concern for the well-being of all children and understanding of all their needs
  • a commitment to extra-curricular activities
  • the ability to lead a curriculum subject area either now or in the near future (please state strengths/experience within application)

ECTs and those with main scale teaching experience are equally welcome and encouraged to apply.
