Tankersley St Peter’s Church of England Primary School is seeking a KS2 Lead who will also take on leadership responsibility across KS2. The successful applicant will be a reflective classroom practitioner ready to progress into leadership, or an experienced leader seeking to make a real difference within a supportive, ambitious school.

The KS2 Lead will work with the Headteacher and leadership team to maintain high-quality teaching, learning and outcomes across the key stage.

Qualifications

  • Passion for ensuring every child, including disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND, can succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Work with teachers to identify pupils needing additional support or challenge and ensure appropriate provision.
  • Contribute to school improvement planning and evaluate the school's priorities.
  • Work closely with the Headteacher and leadership team to raise standards.
  • Help create a positive, ambitious culture where pupils and staff can thrive.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an excellent and reflective classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.

  • Is committed to developing a consistent approach to teaching, learning and curriculum delivery across KS2.
  • Is enthusiastic, positive and willing to contribute fully to the wider life of the school.
  • Will support and promote the Christian ethos and values of our Church of England school.

As KS2 Lead, you will:
