About the role

We're looking for a caring, proactive and reliable Support Worker to join our team in Kidderminster (DY10), supporting four gentlemen aged 30-65 with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, diabetes and visual impairments.

This is a warm and sociable home where routines, friendships and community activities are important. The gentlemen enjoy spending time together, sharing laughs with staff and making the most of opportunities to get out and about.

Two of the gentlemen are blind and some communicate without using words, so patience, observation and building strong relationships are key to providing excellent support.

You'll support with daily living tasks, personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, community activities and promoting independence. Two gentlemen use wheelchairs when accessing the community, and you'll help ensure everyone can participate in the activities they enjoy.

Shifts are worked across mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep-ins, with rotas provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.

  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • A driver with a full UK driving licence

Experience is helpful but not essential — we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
