Falkirk Council is seeking a dedicated Financial Inclusion Officer to support individuals and families, offering advice on welfare benefits, budgeting and money management. You will help access essential services and contribute to reducing poverty and inequalities in the community.
You will be expected to hold an IRRV Level 3 Certificate or an HNC (or equivalent) or demonstrate significant relevant experience, and may need to obtain PVG scheme membership.
Falkirk Council is looking for a dedicated and proactive Financial Inclusion Officer to join our team. In this role, you will support individuals and families to improve their financial wellbeing by providing advice on welfare benefits, income maximisation, budgeting, and effective money management. You will also help people access other essential services. Your work will play an important part in reducing poverty, tackle inequalities, and ensuring everyone in our community can access the support they need.

This role requires an IRRV Level 3 Certificate in Local Taxation, Welfare Benefits and Administration, or an HNC (or equivalent qualification), or significant relevant experience.
This post is temporary until March 2028 due to service requirement.
