Are you looking for an opportunity to build your finance career whilst making a genuine difference in people's lives? This Finance Officer role offers the chance to join a well-established charitable organisation that delivers vital support services across Scotland. Working within a small, collaborative finance team, you'll play a key role in ensuring funding reaches those who need it most while supporting the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations.
This respected third-sector organisation provides a range of community-focused services, supporting individuals, families and carers across multiple locations. With continued growth and increasing demand for its services, the organisation is investing further in its finance function to ensure robust financial processes and exceptional service delivery.
As Finance Officer, you will be responsible for a mixture of grant administration and transactional finance duties. Approximately half of the role will involve managing the financial administration of a high-volume grant funding programme, ensuring payments are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with established procedures.
The remaining portion of the role will focus on core finance activities, supporting the wider finance function and helping maintain accurate financial records across the organisation.
We are seeking an organised and detail-focused finance professional who enjoys working as part of a small team and takes pride in delivering a high-quality service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional seeking a role where they can develop their skills whilst contributing to a meaningful cause.
