Job summary

Smart Solutions is seeking a Yard Operative to join a busy waste and recycling facility at Kilsyth. The role involves safe loading, unloading, sorting, and movement of waste materials while upholding high housekeeping and Health & Safety standards.

You will work Monday to Friday, with ongoing opportunities and training to develop within a growing sector. A supportive team environment is offered with pathways for progression within the site.

• Working closely with the site management and operations team.

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our client based at Kilsyth.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy waste and recycling facility offering ongoing work within a growing industry.

The Role:

As a Yard Operative, you will support the safe loading, unloading, sorting, movement, and storage of waste materials across the transfer station and plant areas while maintaining excellent housekeeping and Health & Safety standards.

• Maintaining housekeeping standards across operational areas
• Operating work equipment safely in line with site procedures
• Carrying out pre-use safety checks on equipment and reporting defects
