I am dad to a teenage girl with down syndrome and a learning disability. She is mainly non-verbal but does have some limited communication and she can use Makaton. I am looking for a kind, caring PA to accompany her on social outings and to provide some female company and friendship. My daughter does not require any daily personal care but she would need some support when visiting the toilet during her menstrual cycle. My daughter is friendly and very easy going with no challenging behaviours and she enjoys music, dancing, eating out, going to the park and shopping.
