Job summary

Home Group Limited is seeking a Community Housing Assistant (Premium) to support our housing team across North London, including Harrow. You will provide face-to-face customer support to our communities and help develop a career in housing.

You will be visible on estates, work with housing managers to improve neighbourhoods, and handle tasks like voids, local authority liaison, and site meetings. A DBS check will be paid, and hybrid working is offered.

What you’ll do

• Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business and external partners
• Knowledge of housing management and housing law, universal credit is a bonus, not a must
• The ability to use technology to navigate our systems and update customer records
• An appreciation that this is a role where you’ll spend much of your time lone working in our local estates.

The practical bits

• Where they will work e.g. hybrid role with minimum 2 days in the office, 3 days working at home and regular visits an our estates. You’ll work across our North London patch, covering Barnet (including the Douglas Bader Park regeneration estate), Harrow and Brent.
• Temporary (6 months), full time (37.5 hpw). There may be some flexibility to adapt your working hours, do let us know about this when you meet us at the interview
• We mainly work Monday to Friday and work occasional evenings to meet with customers. The great news is that you’ll be able to shape your own diary
• You need to be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle insured for business purposes
• You’ll need a Standard DBS check done and we pay for that
