This role supports the day-to-day operation of a vehicle workshop parts and stores function. Key responsibilities include managing parts and materials, processing orders and deliveries, maintaining accurate records and stock levels, handling returns, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and producing management reports.
The post holder will work closely with Parts Technical Advisors and the Parts/Stores Manager to ensure parts are available when needed, stock is stored safely and effectively, financial and inventory records are accurate, and workshop operations run efficiently. The role also requires attention to detail, strong administrative skills, knowledge of stock control processes, and adherence to COSHH and Health & Safety requirements. Additionally, the role involves monitoring stock trends, supporting audits, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
