Recruitment Helpline Ltd in Grantham is seeking an experienced Electronic Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join a well-established company. You will be responsible for installation and commissioning of intruder detection, access control, CCTV and fire safety systems.

Candidates should have proven installation/servicing experience, basic electrical and IT knowledge, networking basics, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the installation and/or servicing of electronic fire safety systems and/or electronic security systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and/or electronic principles.
• Basic knowledge of IT, including an understanding of various Windows operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking principles.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Planning, installation and commissioning of fire safety systems and electronic security systems to a high standard including additions and alterations to existing systems.
• Communicate effectively with customers and contractors while carrying out works.
• Work with customers and contractors to meet installation and specification requirements.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional work ethic at all times.
• Learn and adapt to changing environments, products and design requirements.
• Work from designs, specifications, and CAD drawings.
• Be able to work alone or within a team across a defined geographical area.
• Complete all documentation, drawings and data supplied by customer or company.
• Plan and manage works efficiently and effectively.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and toolbox talks.
• Undertake tasks to support colleagues and company objectives.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Electronic Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join a well-established company.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Salary: Competitive Salary, Depending on Experience.

Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00 – 40 Hours.

About The Role:

Responsible for the installation & commissioning of electronic fire & security systems, incorporating intruder detection systems, access control systems, CCTV systems and fire safety systems in accordance with the current systems standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, Installing & commissioning new systems with the take-over, additions and or alterations to existing intruder detection systems, access control systems, CCTV systems and fire safety systems to the relevant standard ensuring both company and client expectations are satisfied.

Key Duties:

• Planning, Installation & commissioning of fire safety systems and electronic security systems to a high standard including additions and alterations to existing systems
• Good communication skills with company, customers and or contractors whilst carrying out works.
• Working with customers and or contractors to meet installation & specification requirements.
• Clean, tidy, and professional work ethic at all times.
• Ability to learn and adapt to changing environments, products, and design requirements.
• Able to work from designs, specifications and or CAD drawings.
• Ability to work alone or within a team covering a defined geographical area.
