Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd in Grantham, Lincolnshire, is seeking an experienced Electronic Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join a well-established team. You will install and commission intruder detection, access control, CCTV and fire safety systems.

You will plan, install and commission new systems, take-overs and alterations to existing setups, working from CAD drawings and ensuring compliance with standards and safety requirements. A full UK driving license is required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in the installation and/or servicing of electronic fire safety systems and/or electronic security systems.
Basic knowledge of electrical and/or electronic principles.
Basic knowledge of IT, including an understanding of various Windows operating systems.
Basic knowledge of networking principles.

Responsibilities

Planning, installation and commissioning of fire safety systems and electronic security systems to a high standard.
Good communication with customers, contractors and colleagues.
Work from designs, specifications and CAD drawings.
Ability to work alone or in a team across a defined geographical area.
Complete all documentation and data related to works.
