Job summary

Recruitment Helpline is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their Nottingham team. The role covers installation, servicing and commissioning of security and life-safety systems in commercial environments.

You will gain exposure to access control, CCTV, fire alarms and related technologies, with opportunities to broaden skills in a supportive, local business. A DBS check may be required and a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in at least one discipline (security or life safety)
• Experience with servicing, installation, or commissioning
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Own basic hand tools
• Good spoken and written English
• Willingness to complete a DBS check

Responsibilities

• Install, service and commission security and life-safety systems across commercial environments
• Work with access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms, automatic doors and related equipment
• Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality installation and ongoing maintenance

Salary: £33,000 - £42,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer or Access Control/Security Engineer to join their friendly and professional team.

About The Role:

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will be carrying out the installation, servicing, and commissioning of security and life safety systems across commercial environments.

Your work may include:

• Access control systems
• Automated gates and barriers
• CCTV
• Roller shutters
• Intruder alarms
• Fire alarm systems
• Automatic doors
• Door entry systems

Experience in at least one of these key areas is required, and full training will be provided across other disciplines. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to broaden their skill set while working for a supportive and reputable company.
