Job summary

Recruitment Helpline in Nottingham is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a well-established local team. The role covers installation, servicing and commissioning of security and life-safety systems across commercial environments.

You will work on access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, roller shutters and door systems, with training provided for other disciplines. A full UK driving licence, good communication skills, and a DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in at least one of the specified disciplines.
• Experience with servicing, installation, or commissioning.
• Flexible and able to work independently or in a team.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence and own basic hand tools.
• Willingness to complete a DBS check.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer or Access Control/Security Engineer to join their friendly and professional team.

About The Role

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will be carrying out the installation, servicing, and commissioning of security and life safety systems across commercial environments.

Your work may include

• Access control systems
• Automated gates and barriers
• CCTV
• Roller shutters
• Intruder alarms
• Fire alarm systems
• Automatic doors
• Door entry systems

Experience in at least one of these key areas is required, and full training will be provided across other disciplines. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to broaden their skill set while working for a supportive and reputable company.
