Job summary

Kinderview Children's Day Nursery Ltd in Glossop is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Educator to support young children aged 3 months to 5 years. You will deliver high-quality care and engaging activities within the EYFS framework.

You will work full or part time between 7.30am and 6.00pm, promote safe, inclusive play, build secure attachments with children and families, and collaborate with a friendly team to ensure each child receives tailored learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Level 3 EYFS qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of EYFS framework and child development.
• Experience supporting children's learning in a nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for all children.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
• Act as a key person, building secure attachments with children and families.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s development using learning journals.
• Support children’s personal care routines, including meals, toileting, and sleep.
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusive practice.
• Ensure all safeguarding, health, and safety policies are followed.
• Work effectively as part of a nursery team and contribute to staff meetings and training.

The Role
