Ready for Your Next Leadership Challenge?

We're looking for an ambitious and passionate Registered Service Manager to join Voyage Care and lead an established residential service in Medway.

This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced Registered Manager looking for a fresh challenge, or an experienced Deputy Manager, Care Manager or Service Manager ready to take the next step in their leadership career.

You'll be joining a vibrant, well-established service with a committed and caring team already in place. The service has strong foundations, good occupancy potential and plenty of opportunity for a manager who enjoys developing teams, embedding best practice and driving continuous improvement.

This isn't a turnaround service. It's a service with great potential that now needs a visible, supportive and proactive leader to help take it to the next level.

About the Role

As Registered Service Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance and person-centred support are consistently delivered.

Working closely with your team, your focus will be on:
  • Providing visible leadership and direction
  • Coaching, developing and inspiring colleagues
  • Embedding accountability and ownership across the service
  • Driving service quality and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards
  • Managing occupancy and supporting future growth
  • Building a positive and high-performing team culture
  • Preparing the service for future inspections
  • Creating an environment where both colleagues and the people we support can thrive
Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This service has recently moved from a dual-management structure to a standalone management model, creating an exciting opportunity for the right leader to make the role their own.

You'll inherit:
  • A fully staffed and committed team
  • An established service with strong foundations
  • Excellent community engagement
  • Opportunities for further development and growth

What the team needs now is a manager who can provide clear direction, consistency and support, helping colleagues develop their skills while maintaining high standards and driving the service forward.

If you're someone who enjoys developing people, improving quality and creating a positive culture, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine impact.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in both experience and values.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous experience within a residential care management role
  • Experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities and Autism
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Good knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards
  • Experience driving service performance and quality improvement
  • Ability to develop, coach and motivate teams
  • Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Previous Registered Manager experience
  • Experience as a Deputy Manager ready for progression
  • Experience supporting services through inspections
  • Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support
  • Experience of occupancy growth and service development
Why Choose Voyage Care?

At Voyage Care, we believe in helping our colleagues Grow Together.

Whether you're an experienced Registered Manager looking for your next challenge or a talented Deputy Manager ready to progress, we'll support you with the training, development and opportunities you need to build a rewarding and successful career.

We embrace people's differences and encourage you to Be You. If you're passionate about leading teams, delivering quality and making a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.

All applicants and subsequent job offers will be subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.
