Job summary

Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service is hiring a Senior Support Worker for a care home in the Ditchingham, Bungay area. The role is permanent, full-time, 36 hours per week, with a pay range of £14.00–£14.45 per hour.

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is required to be considered. You will supervise and support care staff, participate in care planning and documentation, and contribute to maintaining high standards of resident care, including medication administration in line

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is required.
• Experience in care settings is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Genuine desire to care for others.

Responsibilities

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals

• Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
