Job summary

Search Recruitment are recruiting experienced TIG Welders for a leading manufacturing company based in Gainsborough. The role offers a permanent, ongoing position on an afternoon shift with a four-day working week and 39 paid hours per week, plus weekly pay.

You will weld stainless steel and mild steel exhaust components, read engineering drawings, and ensure welds meet customer specs while maintaining health and safety standards. The job is on-site with long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous TIG welding experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience welding stainless steel.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Reliable with a positive attitude.
• Able to work to quality standards and production targets.
• Welding NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3 (or equivalent).
• Experience using Vernier callipers and measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of 5S or continuous improvement practices.

Search Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced TIG Welders on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in Gainsborough.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer offering long-term, ongoing work on a permanent afternoon shift across a four-day working week.

As a TIG Welder, you'll be responsible for welding stainless steel and mild steel exhaust system components to a high standard, ensuring all work meets customer specifications while maintaining quality and health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

TIG welding stainless steel and mild steel components

Reading and working from engineering drawings

Producing high-quality welds to specification

Using jigs, fixtures and measuring equipment

Carrying out quality checks and completing production documentation

Working safely in line with Health & Safety procedures

Requirements
