Job summary

Thera Trust is hiring Support Workers to assist adults with learning disabilities in daily living, either in their own homes or in the community. The role involves driving individuals in mobility vehicles, adapting communication to individual needs, and working a 24/7 rota with Early/Late/Weekend and Sleep-in shifts.

No prior qualifications are required as full training is provided; a kind, caring, resilient, and motivated approach is essential, with strong communication skills.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, as this role requires driving individuals we support in their own mobility vehicles

The ability to understand individual communication preferences and adapt communication styles accordingly is essential.

Willing and able to work as part of a 24/7 rota, including: Early shifts, Late shifts, Weekends, Bank holidays & Sleep-in shifts

Kind, caring, team players with a great sense of humour

Must be confident with IT and have access to a suitable device for completing digital timesheets and e-learning
