Tesco Shift Leader - Days at Chessington Express is seeking an energetic supervisor to lead a team and deliver a great in-store experience. You will manage daily operations, coach colleagues and be the go-to person for day-to-day queries.

Ideal candidates bring experience in fast-paced retail leadership, a passion for service, and the ability to motivate a diverse team. This role offers day shifts and a minimum of 16 hours per week with competitive pay.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we're looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for

Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.

Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.

Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.

Confidently leading the store in the Manager's absence.

Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.

You will need

To be over 18 for this role.
